The worst thing happened. My fiance lost her engagement ring 3 months after we got it insured. Its a replacement policy. Should i expect a hard time during the claim given that the ring was recently insured?
Your advice is greatly appreciated...:

IFit had been accurately described professionally on the appraisal that you used when purchasing your insurance; you should have absolutely no problem having it replaced with like kind and value.

A suggestion, enlist the appraiser to examine the replacement before you accept it.

That's too bad, but that's what insurance is for. I wouldn't worry about it :)

I'm sure that we would be very interested in knowing how this all worked out.

As long as it was filed appropriately then no, you shouldn't have a problem. That 'is' what insurance is for so you're lucky you have it. I hope they get you a replacement taken care of soon.
