There's a stone I'm looking at and in the description it talks about a "faceted girdle." I tried looking up more information but it was hard to figure out what this is.... does it just meant he girdle is faceted or aren't they all supposed to be?

The girdle is the outer edge of the diamond's shape. There are three basic fashioning styles of a girdle: polished, faceted, or bruted. A polished girdle is see-through or clear, and has smooth surfaces. A faceted girdle consists of a small series of polished facets. A bruted girdle has a fine grainy appearance.
Very fine cut diamonds often have faceted girdle. A diamond cutter must spend extra time to carefully facet girdle edges.
