Emerald Cut Diamond Questions

Hello, I'm looking to buy a 1-1.25C emerald cut diamond online for an engagement ring. I've read most of the posts on this forum & using the specs for an emerald cut previously mention, I've found the following stones. My questions are: are these reasonable prices? What are some reputable online sites for purchasing diamonds? And is this too small of a diamond? The ring will either be a solitaire or one with small diamonds on each side.



#1 carat=1.11 color=I clarity=VS1 polish/sym = vg cut=very good ratio=1.3 depth=68.7 table=66 $3,626

Sorry you're just not providing enough information. With an emerald shape the make of the diamond (cutting style/quality) is very important. There are short and fat, or tall and skinny, some with larger corners then others.. some with better refraction patterns, etc, etc. There is no "ideal cut" for emerald shapes. You really need photos and observing them in person helps a lot.

It would be better if you search in Google,the reason I say this is because of the inadequate information that you have provided making it difficult for other members to comment.Why don't you upload a photo of your desired jewelery.That would help a lot.
