Hi, they are not on our website unfortunately. We list about 20,000 diamonds, but have access to some 1.7 million loose stones, getting the rights to list them all of course is very tricky. It's sort of like a real estate agent can sell any home, however they only advertise the ones their company directly sells.
I used to live in Canada actually so I know what you're talking about. I lived in suburb of Toronto called Mississauga for several years.
You're be happy to know that the exise tax no longer exists. They still have duties (12%) and you would need to pay GST and provincial sales tax if any.
Now what I can do is something I've done for others in the past. I can ship your stone/ring in one parcel, and the documents in a second. The ring would be declared at a lower amount, but would be insured through a third party insurance company. We then file paperwork with a jeweler in Canada who will declare the diamond is being sold to him to be resold in Canada.
Then in a separate parcel we could mail the documents and grading report. The actual import/taxes would be minimal, and the brokerage fee would be exempt because of Fedex.
If you have any questions, please email me at my email address directly to discuss. It's
yosef@adylon.com. I check that much more frequently then here.
Best regards,
Yosef
